Here are your assignments for the week, by category:

Watch at least one of the videos below to refresh your memory about the material, and post a proof pic/screenshot showing the end of the video. (2 points)

2. GSD Assignments

Assignment 1: Review your daily routine (4 points)

Review what your typical day is like. It helps to write it out in terms of your 4 containers, plus anything else that happens during your typical day, from the moment you wake up until the moment you go to bed. Ask yourself, how well does this daily routine support the pursuit of your Dark Goals? Based on your answer to that question, make any modifications to your daily routine if necessary.

Proof pic: Upload a picture or screenshot of your revised (or current, if no revisions) daily routine to your fire team channel.

Assignment 2: Review your ground activities (4 points)

Review your list of activities that restore you, and add any new ones that come to mind, and/or remove any that no longer stoke your fire. Are there any activities on your list that you’ve been neglecting that you need to do more often?

Proof pic: Upload a picture or screenshot of your revised (or current, if no revisions) list of Ground activities to your fire team channel.

Assignment 3: Schedule your ground activities (4 points)

Pull out your calendar, review your previously scheduled ground activities, make any adjustments if needed, and ensure you are booked out for the full upcoming year.

Proof pic: Upload a picture of your calendar (or a piece of it) that shows your scheduled ground activities for at least the next month.

Assignment 4: Write your Legend Page and Daily Action Plan at the start of each day for 5 days (4 points per day for a max total of 20 points)

For 5 days this week, start your day by writing out your Legend Page and Daily Action Plan. They should include your Dark Goals, Daily Affirmation, Gratitude, Next Bold Moves (NBM’s), Core, and FTA. 

Proof pic: Upload a picture of your Legend Page / Daily Action Plan each morning to your fire team channel.

Assignment 5: Review your week (4 points)

At the end of the week, answer the following 2 questions:

  1. How well did I execute my NBM’s? 
  2. How effective were those NBM’s at achieving my goals? 

Proof pic: Post your Weekly Review to your fire team channel. Some suggestions for acceptable formats include: a photo of your hand-written page, a screenshot of your typed assessment, or a video.

GSD Lab (optional)

Watch the video below and complete the assignment. This assignment is optional and not scored. It is designed to help you experiment with some more advanced techniques to boost your productivity.

GSD Lab Assignment: Commit to a 30-Day Personal Challenge

Brainstorm any ideas for possible 30-day challenge candidates you can commit to. Then select the one that jumps out at you the most, and take the first action (Day 1) of your 30-Day Challenge.

Proof pic: Post a picture or explanation of the 30-day commitment you’ve made to your fire team channel.

3. BOLD MOVE

Make one Bold Move this week to move the needle in any one of the 6 pillars of your life (Health, Wealth, Relationship, Family, Work, Personal). It is strongly recommended (though not required) that you make a Bold Move that is directly related to one of your Dark Goals.

Proof pic: Upload a photo or video of your Bold Move to your fire team channel, and add your Bold Move for this week to your Dark Goal Tracker worksheet under the related Pillar. (5 points).

4. SPECIAL OPS

Your Special Ops assignment for this week is to complete ONE of the three Special Ops listed below, and to substantiate by uploading a proof pic or video to your fire team channel (3 points).

* Special Op #1: Go for a shirtless walk at dawn.

* Special Op #2: Teach your child how to chop wood.

* Special Op #3: Eat new meat.

5. MOOT
